New Calcium Sulfonate Thickened Greases

Rheotemp™ 662 is Nye’s first calcium sulfonate thickened product. This product is recommended for high load applications operating under extreme conditions.

Rheotemp™ 662 is a high performance grease with premium physical properties, including excellent corrosion protection, water washout and spray off protection. 662 is a light viscosity, synthetic hydrocarbon grease with an NLGI grade of 2. It has outstanding low temperature properties and exceptional thermal stability over a wide temperature range of up to 175°C. Made with a PAO base oil, this grease is compatible with many plastics and elastomers used in the Automotive Industry.

This calcium sulfonate grease is intended for applications that demand superior water resistant properties and corrosion protection. It is used in automotive, rail, marine and power generation applications. Common applications include wheel bearings, plain and roller bearings, steering systems, electric motor bearings, brake equipment and climate control actuators.
