NyeTube Launches New Video Series
Our website is now featuring NyeTube video series on our Standard Packaging Options. You can access each video by clicking on the different container options in the menu on our Product Packaging Page.
The educational video series displays the various standard packaging options we offer. Take a tour of the page to learn more about what containers will not only be your most cost-effective option, but will also reduce the lead time for production. The videos will detail all the available packaging sizes, dimensions, case quantities and suggestions on dispensing for each type of container.
Choosing the Right Non-Soap Thickener
There are several non-soap thickeners that have been developed over the years and are utilized in applications depending upon the operating conditions the grease will experience and the materials with which they will be in contact. Some thickeners need to be non-melting and withstand temperature significantly hotter than what traditional soap greases can handle. Others need to be inert due to material compatibility, or they may be in aggressive environments where they are exposed to corrosive or acidic gases.
NyoGel® 758G - Conductive Grease
NyoGel® 758G is a stiff, lithium soap thickened, synthetic ester grease specially developed for electrical conductivity. Intended for demanding bearing applications, 758G can provide a very economical, low-maintenance path to ground through the bearing. It has a light viscosity and an operating temperature range from -40 to 150°C.
New REM Added to our Nye Sales Team
Ed Dykema has recently joined Nye’s Troy office in Michigan as a Regional Engineering Manager. Ed received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Lawrence Technical University in Michigan. He previously worked in plastics and has roughly 25 years’ experience as an automotive supplier.

In just a few short months, he has demonstrated a clear understanding of our value proposition and is quickly building relationships with key automotive OEMs in the Detroit area," said Nye President George Mock III. New Product for High Vacuum Environment
In collaboration with a leading Semiconductor equipment manufacturer, NyeTorr 5361 has been developed for bearing applications. It is a heavy viscosity PFPE oil; it is ultrafiltered and intended for high vacuum and clean room applications, spacecraft and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. NyeTorr 5361 provides the best wear performance in a non-MAC semiconductor oil.
