Nye Lubeletter - February 2015
Our newly designed corporate website
We are pleased to unveil our new corporate website! We encourage you to visit and explore the site. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, Nyelubricants.com is now more interactive. It is easier to navigate, enabling you, our visitors, to find what you need quickly.
One of our main goals, when designing the site, was for our visitors to get know us better. The site provides a clear picture of who we are as a company, and what type of products and services we offer to our customers. We are now using a responsive design, which means in essence that you’ll see the same design optimized for your smart phone, tablet and desktop.
Please stay tuned over the next few months as we will continue to improve the site so that it best serves how we communicate with you.
Clean Area for manufacturing medical products
Nye’s global Medical Equipment market for lubricants and damping products is diverse, constantly evolving, and very demanding. To better serve customers in this growing, complex market, we are developing unique technologies and implementing new capabilities. A key customer concern in the medical market is always risk mitigation. To reduce perceived risk and conform to international quality criteria, Nye is pursuing certification to the ISO 13485 standard.
Learn from the Experts with a Lubricant Seminar
Nye's Lube Seminar is an intensive seminar about using custom-formulated synthetic lubricants as design materials to improve the performance, life, and value of mechanical and electromechanical products. One of our tribology experts will come to your facility for a two-hour training on lubrication. The training consists of an overview on lubricating oils, greases and gels, and our expert will teach you all the various properties and characteristics to take in account when selecting a lubricant for your application.
If you'd like to register for a on-site Lubricant Seminar, please fill out our form here. Make sure to include details about your company, your application, and the properties you are looking for in a lubricant.
Next generation low voltage switch grease
Many Power Distribution companies around the world have been using lubricants to protect electrically conductive switch components in a wide range of switch designs. Lubricants will extend the operating life and improve performance of electrical switches. They will protect electrical contacts from environmental and galvanic corrosion. Even in mild environments, metal oxides can gradually build up in pores on contact surfaces over time and they impede current flow.
