New Solvents Specifically Developed for In-Vacuum Lubricants
Nye’s family of solvents was developed to provide the full spectrum of cleaning or plating requirements for NyeTorr® and NyeClean® lubricants used in the semiconductor industry. Fluorosolvent 504 is a completely fluorinated, fast-evaporating “ozone-safe” solvent consisting of blended fluorinated alkanes. This solvent is effective as a dispersion and/or a cleaning agent for fluorinated (PFPE) and ADE oils and greases. Fluorosolvent 504 is a clear, colorless, chemically stable and non-flammable solvent.

We strictly control the raw materials in this line to reduce contamination and limit the vapor pressure for critical applications.
