Nye’s Experience & Capabilities in Ultrafiltration

Nye Lubricants has been involved in developing innovative procedures, test methods and equipment to provide ultraclean lubricants to the Semiconductor Industry for several years. The primary task of this process is to remove unwanted substances or contamination from the grease or oil. Nye regularly ultrafilters synthetic oils and greases for specialized applications, such as precision bearings, in disk drives, navigational gyros, high speed dental drills, or positioning equipment used in vacuum chambers. 

NyeClean® & NyeTorr® for the Semiconductor Industry    

NyeClean® & NyeTorr® are two growing product lines of Nye Lubricants, Inc. The NyeClean® line has been developed with its focus on a wide range of general purpose applications in lower vacuum cleanroom environments. NyeTorr® is a unique line of lubricants designed for the rigorous demands of the Semiconductor Production Environment. These products have been developed with several key parameters in mind: Low Outgassing, High Temperature Stability, Aggressive Chemical Resistance, Wear Protection, and Cleanliness.

ADVT Lab Updates    

The ADVT lab is currently focusing on two different modes of testing: Component Testing/Simulation and Applied Mechanics. The first areas targeted were within the Semicon industry looking at the vapor pressure and outgassing of materials, as well as the dynamic particle generation of our products.
