Fluorocarbon Gel 880
Specialty lubricants for automotive components must be able to protect components while withstanding harsh environmental conditions. Fluorocarbon Gel 880 is a PTFE-thickened, heavy viscosity dimethyl silicone grease with excellent mechanical stability under a wide temperature range.
This grease is suitable for use on automotive components where good water spray and resistance is needed such as:
- Jounce Bumpers
- Ball Joints
- Struts
- Parking Brake Cables
- Stabilizer Bushings
- Window Regulator Assemblies
Advantages
- Exhibits plastic compatibility
- Extends component life
- Reduces wear
- Prevents ‘stick/slip’
- Excellent low temperature torque capabilities
- Very high viscosity index
