What different areas of research does FUCHS focus on?
At FUCHS, we specialize in providing comprehensive lubricant solutions and related products. While our primary focus revolves around the development, production, and distribution of lubricants, our research endeavors extend across various domains to advance lubrication technology.
Within our R&D department, we concentrate on several key areas of research, including lubricant formulation, advanced chemistry, tribology, new materials, sustainability, computational science, manufacturing and processing methods, market-focused development, and new testing methodologies.
While our primary focus revolves around the development, production, and distribution of lubricants, our R&D efforts extend across various domains to advance lubrication technology. We take pride in our industry-leading laboratories, which collaborate with research consortiums and customers to simulate real-world applications, ranging from contact-level interactions to full component performance. This approach cultivates strong partnerships between FUCHS and our customers, enabling us to surpass their requirements and outperform our competitors.
