PTFE Thread Tape for a Better Seal

Nye Lubricants is now packaging our amber glass bottle caps with PTFE thread sealant tape. 

This tape is wrapped around the mouth of the bottle to fill the micro gaps between the threads and abnormalities under the bottle caps. This process helps prevent possible leaks. General products that are not manufactured in our Pennzane room use the standard white PTFE thread tape.

All of our Pennzane fluids use grey military grade PTFE thread tape. All glass bottles are double wrapped, once under the cap, and a second time over the cap with blue tape once the bottles are filled with oil. For any questions regarding this change, please contact us at 1.508.996.6721.
