The Science Guy and Nye
At this year's Space Tech Expo, Nye's Senior Engineer Bill Galary and Nye's Regional Engineering Manager Bob Hoffman were interviewed by the Planetary Society for a segment on their radio show. The Society's mission is to sponsor projects that will seed innovative space technologies, to nurture creative young minds, and to be a vital advocate for our future in space.
Mat Kaplan, the show’s host, was drawn to our company booth at the Expo because of the Planetary Society’s CEO, Bill Nye, the Science Guy. As discussed in the radio segment, Subcontractors: Making Space Happen, Bill Nye is a direct descendant of our founder’s brother, Captain Nye. During Bob and Bill’s interview, they discuss how a small company like Nye can supply the Aerospace Industry's leading companies, like Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Honeywell.
