Uniflor™ 8512
Minimizing buzz, squeak, and rattle (BSR) is a common challenge Automotive Engineers face during the application design process. A thin film of lubricant applied to interior automotive components to reduce the noise generated by vibration and friction. To ensure total compatibility with plastics, PFPE-based lubricants are often preferred.
Uniflor™ 8512 & 8512R are PTFE thickened, medium viscosity, PFPE greases intended to control motion and withstand exposure to fuels or aggressive chemical processes in applications such as:
- Key cylinders
- Pull-out bins
- Cupholders
- Hinges & slides
Advantages
- Eliminates BSR
- Compatible with plastics
- Wide-temperature performance
- Excellent thermo-oxidative stability
- Low vapor pressure characteristics
